Dr. Andrea Ramírez is Professor of Low Carbon Systems and Technologies in the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at Delft University of Technology. Her research aims to support the deep decarbonization of the industrial sector by developing and testing methodologies to identify and assess early-on potential impacts, synergisms and bottlenecks of deploying novel low carbon technologies in industrial clusters. The research is interdisciplinary in character and integrates her chemical engineering background with ex-ante techno-economic analysis, life cycle assessment and system analysis. Prof. Ramírez has co-authored over 100 peer review publications and is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Greenhouse Gas Control.
